2.5 cup milk
1 cup shortning
2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar

Scald and set aside all ingredients
disolve 2 pkg or 2 tablespoons yeast in 1/2 cup water

Add yeast
add 4 beaten eggs
mix 8 cups flour
knead until smooth and shiny
Put in greased bowl and let rise
punch down
roll out and cut into circles
brush with butter and fold in half
rise and cook at 350 for 13-15 minutes
